About

A supplement company built to be checked.

Signal State Labs exists because the focus-supplement aisle is loud, vague, and hard to verify. Our answer is not louder marketing — it's a company you can audit.

Why we started

The category has an honesty problem. We think that's the opportunity.

Most focus products are sold on proprietary blends, borrowed citations, and doses that don't match the studies they point to. The people buying them — people whose work depends on clear-headed focus — deserve to see the reasoning.

Signal State Labs publishes unsigned, on purpose. Every claim on this site answers to a published standard — the evidence grades, the claims policy, the quality commitments — not to any one voice's authority, and the company stands behind all of it. The premise is simple. If a cognitive supplement is worth taking, its maker should be able to show you the evidence for every ingredient, the dose that evidence used, and the honest cautions — and should publish what didn't make the cut, not just what did.

That's why the evidence grades, the graded-out ingredients, and the public claims policy came before the product. Signal State Core is being formulated inside those constraints, not marketed around them.

Where we are today: pre-launch. The formula direction is public, the research library is growing weekly, and the first production run doesn't exist yet. We'd rather show you the work in progress than pretend to be further along than we are.

How we operate

Three commitments we expect to be held to.

Every dose disclosed

No proprietary blends, ever. Every ingredient in Signal State Core is disclosed at its own dose, checked against the dose the research actually studied.

Evidence graded in public

Every ingredient we research gets a grade from A to Emerging against published human research — including the ones we rejected, and why.

Language that survives review

Conservative, structure-function claims only — the same standard on this site, the label, and every email. Our claims policy is public so you can hold us to it.

The Signal

Education first was a strategy decision, not a content play.

The Signal — our research and education arm — publishes plain-English, cited breakdowns of cognitive ingredients whether or not they end up in our products. If we help you evaluate any supplement honestly, including competitors', we've earned the right to be considered when ours ships.
